      Thank you for your comments. The light issue you are experiencing is a conflict between our lighting system and the third-party UWXP plugin. If you disable the plugin the lights will work as normal.

    Pre installation takes a while where you wonder if any thing happens as there is no info what is going on. But after about 5 minutes the scenery started to install and I’m very pleased with it.
    One suggestion regarding the licence code: I would like that as a separate folder with the licence code with and separate from the download of Bristol installation folder, so one copies it when asked for, in the relevant box. The reason for this when I installed the patch I had to go through the installation again and providing name, address etc and licence code again.
    Until a better way for it safe/make note of this key.
    I don’t have the full program installed as I still need more info about Worl Traffic before I dive into that.
    Conclusion: I Like both airports and can recommend both.

    I feel that it performs better than the old Bristol. Also it just looks stunning. The installer is nice and really guides you through for as much as that is needed, but I see this installer come in handy when more scenery becomes available in the definitive series. Als the addition of out-of-the-box wt3 routes is another thing that I like since I often use WT3. I would give it 5 stars if it weren’t for the installer to ask my credentials every time I have to update the scenery. I understand it has to be done on initial install, but an update process shouldn’t be asking for my information and/or license.

    Definitive Bristol is very much improved from the version I bought earlier in the year. Very impressed with both the lighting and general scenery and also the support I received as a result of a small glitch in installing. There is a long pause at the start of tne installation and it would be better if it showed that something is happening. Looking forward to the next definitive airport.

    Initially I was very disappointed with Pilot Plus Bristol International. It killed all moving traffic on the A38 and surrounding airport roads, there was no transparent glass in the control towers or in the overhead walkway, (a rather nice feature at EGGD which overlooks the apron) and I don’t think the trees which extend well beyond the airport boundary blend well with ORBX scenery.

    That was my initial impression. Since then, after many hours of work which is ongoing, I have ironed out many of these issues so with most of the problems addressed I am now seeing EGGD in a more objective light.

    The buildings are accurately placed and look good, there is a lot of detail, nice reflection in the glass too but best of all is the night lighting. It is absolutely stunning, the best I have seen. Lovely bright aprons and car parks and building lighting is very nice too. This is by far the best thing about the scenery, it really does look superb.

    I do think better care in keeping the excludes within the airport boundary and more careful placement of cars over textures would make the product better. Also some glass in the towers and the raised walkway near the admin building would be a huge improvement but these niggles aside, EGGD from Pilot Plus is probably the best version of Bristol International money can buy.

    Nightmare to install and comes up “needs attention” in X-organiser. Install instructions not clear. Big hit on fps even on my RTX2080 super and i59600K. Without airport I get 55 fps with EGGD under 19. Dissapointing as the previews look fantastic. Shoupd have bought through ORBX and had less hassle with install.
